SpaceKidets Golden Wings is now the SpaceKidets Club! (ask us about our £50 discount from our GCSE Astronomy programme!).

Please note the free trial period we offer is not available to those who previously cancelled their membership, they are welcome to rejoin here.

In this package, children still get access to what they previously enjoyed, including the modules and the SpaceKidets graduation quiz. But with this, they also get access to the monthly one-hour webinars, SpaceKidets Live that we run on the last Wednesday of the month between 17:50 – 19:00

In these the sessions typically include

10 minutes of sky diary, looking at what is up in the night sky (soft copy notes available to download)

40 minutes of presentation with 15 minutes of questions (typically) at the end. (while time allows).

In these children are encouraged to ask questions, discuss their experiences and observations to do with Astronomy. Some even take the presentation!

The aim of these is to help offer children a rounded knowledge of Astronomy and Space. To encourage them to develop skills and confidence with the opportunity to socialise (while supervised) via the Zoom Chat facility.

If SpaceKidets cannot attend, the sessions are recorded so they can view them later within our portal. There is also a private Facebook group where parents are invited to join to ask questions.

Many have gone onto our GCSE Astronomy after this!

We also run special offers on various things from meteorites to books (when we publish more). All for £8.50 a month which is collected monthly via GoCardless.

£50 Discount off GCSE Astronomy

We offer a £50 discount from the first year of our GCSE Astronomy program for completing the ENTIRE course. To be eligible you need to be registered with nonstop membership for the duration of the program. You cannot cancel and rejoin). To qualify, EVERY module and Quiz needs to be completed (that has one) and EVERY certificate downloaded. Both the Single and Golden Wing’s graduation quizzes need to be completed and PASSED.

Eligible Golden Wings graduands can then apply for the £50 discount, which they can either have off their GCSE or be entitled to continue to attend the SpaceKidets Live webinars (sadly we are no longer able to offer SpaceKidets graduated ongoing free access after leaving).

*Cancellation policy

We do not tie our learners in, you may cancel anytime. In the event of cancellation (ending the GoCardless mandate with your bank) we will email you to ask if this was a mistake (it has happened!) if it was, you retain access for a month after your LAST payment. If you cancel before and we do not hear from you a week after we email you, the account will be deleted. That does sadly mean that all quiz scores, access to all webinar content, and other material will be lost. But obviously, you keep the certificates you downloaded.
