Description

As explained on the product page, SpaceKidets – Guide to the Night Sky is a workbook for children.

Written first to give kids an awareness of their equipment. Teaching them to use skills they might have learned in the SpaceKidets program. They will start by understanding the magnification of their eyepieces.

They will then move onto get an understanding of the terminology used to study astronomy and the night sky. Following on from there, season by season we explore the main constellations of the seasons. Looking at each constellation in turn and identifying the main objects within it.

Learners are encouraged to sketch (in the book) what they see.

In the end, children are hoped to have gained a good all-round knowledge of the night sky and how to observe it.

This book is available as a downloadable pdf at the moment. A printed copy will be available to order soon.
